Huntington, WV (Nov. 30, 2019) — Singing News has learned that Gospel singer Will Adkins passed away Nov. 29 at age 64. 

Will began his career as a Gospel singer at age 12 and was the bass singer for the Gospel Harmony Boys for many years. A resident of Huntington, West Virginia, he was employed by the Wayne Country Board of Education until his retirement in 2011. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Kimberly (Hill) Adkins, daughters Alicia (Anthony) Papas of Wayne and Becky (Daniel) DeRossett of Huntington; grandchildren Peyton, Heidi, Olivia, Nate, Eric William, and Bailey; sister Ruby (Ken) Dyer; brothers Bernard Keith (Pauline), Dean (Mary), Neil (Evie); Toney (Drema), and Doug (Peggy) Adkins, along with many more loved ones.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019, at Morris Funeral Home, Inc., 79 Bridge St., Wayne, WV, 25570. Funeral services will be conducted at the same location at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2019, with Pastor Michael Dillon officiating. Burial will follow at Community Memorial Gardens in Wayne.
