On Dec. 4, Squire Parsons underwent bypass surgery to repair some blockages in his heart, and he is recovering well. The Parsons family reports that Squire is meeting all the daily goals the doctors have set for him and improving greatly.

His family would like to pass along this statement of gratitude: “Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. They do not go unnoticed.”
Squire and his family deeply appreciate the outpouring of support he has received through emails, Facebook communication, and phone calls.

“We have been passing all the thoughts and prayers on to Squire each day which is encouraging him as he is recovering,” says his office manager, Nancy Wells. “The plan is for him to move to the next step down in recovery in the next day or so.”

Many people have expressed their concern by leaving voice mails at Squire’s office number. His staff reports that while each message is being checked, they are unable to return calls because there are so many. They suggest mailing a card to Squire instead, as this will be the best way to reach out to him. His family will make sure he sees each one.

If you would like to mail a card of encouragement, please send it to: Squire Parsons, P.O. Box 279, Leicester, NC, 28748.

Further updates will be posted to Squire’s Facebook page, as well as this site.
