Millersville, PA (September 1, 2018) — Singing News has learned that Mary Carper has been diagnosed with lung cancer. The doctors have also found an inoperable mass in her chest.

Many Southern Gospel artists and fans know Mary from her days promoting many Southern Gospel concerts for decades in Pennsylvania along with her deceased husband, Dick Carper. (Garden Spot Promotions)

Despite the prognosis, Mary is in good spirits and said that she is feeling “good.” She has been hospitalized since Tuesday, August 28th. and is planning to be released today.
