Gray, GA (February 19, 2021)

Mr. Danny Lamar Gable, 70, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his sister’s home in Gray, GA following an extended illness.

Born on April 24, 1950 in Gainesville, he was the son of Margaret Corn Ambellas and of the late George Edward Gable. He was most recently employed with Walmart where he was a salesman. However, for many years Danny was known as Danny O’Day. He was a radio announcer for WCON and hosted the Suppertime Gospel Radio Show. He was an award winning DJ and an MC. As well as a gospel TV host.

In addition to his father, Danny is preceded in death by his sister, Tommie Nell Gable.

Danny is survived by his daughters, Renee Gable Fuller (Mark) of Dallas, GA, Deborah Gable Pope (Wayne) of Rome, GA; mother, Margaret Corn Ambellas of Gray, GA; sisters, Kimberly Ambellas Thompson (Craig) of Gray, GA, Karen Ambellas Cates (James) of Milledgeville, GA; brothers, William Edward Gable (Barbara) of Gray, GA, Warren Reginald Gable (Jeanne) of Gainesville; his 4 grandsons Ryan, Tyler, Mark and Matthew, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
