Mickey Bell Wins ICMA Best Comedian of the Year

Comedian Mickey Bell has been awarded as Best Comedian of the Year! The beloved funny man received the honor last night during the 2021 Inspirational Country Music Awards, held in Pigeon Forge, TN.

“Wow. Just wow! This was a total shock,” said the surprised Bell. “To be doing this for a little over two years and receive this type of recognition…it’s just mind blowing. As someone who grew up thinking I was never enough, this is very special to me. Thank you.”

The award comes on the heels of Mickey’s SOLD OUT inaugural comedy club show at the iconic Stardome in Birmingham, AL on Tuesday night, August 24, 2021. The comedian filmed his first comedy special, One Pound At A Time, during the appearance. This followed a string of tour appearances the past several months with various artists such as 2-time GRAMMY winner Jason Crabb and David Phelps. Bell is now preparing for a fall tour with Unspoken, a hit CCM group.
