Nashville, TN (March 19, 2019) –Main Street Music & Entertainment is proud to announce the addition of breakout vocal group Carolina to the roster of Berry Hill Records.

The perfect mix of gospel and country, Carolina has been delivering their unique presentation of the Gospel to audiences across the country for over a decade. Lead singer Scott Whitener, who’s resume includes time with the Singing Americans, Jericho, and Melody Masters Quartet, is joined by accomplished tenor, Chris Roberts and newcomer Riley Dotson, while Chris Parker lends his rich bass vocals to round out the group. Carolina has been gaining national attention in recent months and sharing the stage with artists such as Jason Crabb, Chris Golden and Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, among others.

As the debut artist on Berry Hill Records, Carolina is excited about the chance to push boundaries and expand its reach in ways that were not necessarily possible before. “When the opportunity comes along to partner with like-minded people like we found at Berry Hill Records and Main Street, you take it,” shares Scott Whitener. “We love the new and creative ideas they’ve presented and are thrilled about the possibilities that lie within this partnership. We can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve done so far!”

“I can’t think of a better group of guys to be with,” adds Chris Parker. “I feel like we’re equally yoked and I’m very excited about what the future holds with Berry Hill. This is just the beginning of an amazing journey.” Chris Roberts continues, “It really is an exciting time for Carolina. A lot of pieces are falling into place for us, and we are thrilled to have this label behind us to share our vision and help push us to bigger and better things.” “The music we sing resounds with such a wide variety of people, songs about faith, family and freedom. The more doors we can have opened to us to share that message, the better!” Riley Dotson concludes.

“When I first saw Carolina in concert a few years back, I saw that they had that ‘extra something’. They moved me,” adds Michael Sykes of Berry Hill Records. “Little did I know that in less than a year we’d be in the studio making great music together. These guys are the real deal. I’m excited about Carolina and Berry Hill combining forces to make a difference for good!”

On the heels of the new record deal, Carolina will be releasing its debut album on Berry Hill Records, entitled American Morning, on May 17th. The first single from the project, “I Don’t Have To Stay,” will hit Southern Gospel radio in the coming weeks, as well as the premiere of a new music video.
