Boise, ID (Dec. 3, 2019) — On Nov. 28, Liberty Ministries announced a new baritone and ministry partner, Will Arasmith. Will and his wife, Audra—whom he just wed in Sept. 2019!—will be moving from Langdon, Kansas, to Idaho in December 2019.
Will Arasmith is steeped in Gospel music tradition. His family performed in a mixed group called The Lighthouse Quartet, and Will occasionally sang and traveled with the group as a child. He became a lifelong fan of Southern Gospel music during this time.
He holds a a Bachelor’s in Music Education with an emphasis in percussion from Washburn University, and he sang bass with various groups during college. Upon graduation in 2009, Will began traveling and singing baritone and lead with a local Southern Gospel group in Kansas. He is also experienced in writing and arranging music and has numerous pieces written or arranged for drumline, percussion, small and large ensembles.
Royce Mitchell, founding member of Liberty Quartet, says, “We are thrilled that Will and Audra are joining the Liberty team and excited to introduce them to the Liberty family and friends. This young couple is about to be blanketed by the wave of love the rest of us have experienced over these past 24 years. You will quickly recognize that they are eager to meet you and to contribute to the work that is before them, all the while growing in the Lord with the family of God. Please welcome the Arasmiths as we work and fellowship together.”
Upon accepting the position, Will commented, “I am humbled and thrilled to be a part of Liberty Quartet! This is truly a dream come true. Royce, Philip, and Paul are great men of God and I am happy to be able to minister alongside them. I am very excited to see what God has in store going forward.”
Prayers are appreciated safety and a smooth transition for Will and Audra, as they seek housing and a new church home and prepare for the move to Idaho.
