GRAMMY-nominated and multiple Dove Award-winning singer-songwriter, Joseph Habedank’s most important album to-date, Change Is Coming, won Southern Gospel Album of the Year at the 52nd Annual GMA Dove Awards. The album, released in April 2021, features ten songs about heart-touching, soul-wrenching, and thought-provoking topics such as addiction, religion, holiness, Judas, the Second Coming, Heaven, redemption, and even the idea that Jesus was a rebel.

As he does with each record, Habedank co-wrote each of the ten tracks with some of the industry’s most esteemed songwriters including Jason Cox, Scotty Inman, Jonathan Smith, Tony Wood, Michael Farren, Jesse Reeves, Nick Romes, Kenna Turner West, Dave Clark, Don Koch, Benji Cowart, Lee Black, Sue C. Smith, and Wayne Haun.

The lead single off the album “Religion Isn’t Working” recently achieved #1 status. The single released to radio on April 2, 2021 and has been steadily turning heads since. Singing News announced “Religion Isn’t Working” as #1 on their November chart. The announcement was made on September 16, 2021.
