The Chuck Wagon Gang is considered true Americana and is one of the more revered bluegrass groups of all time, their Gospel roots and much of their lyrical content make them  relevant in the Southern Gospel world. The Chuck Wagon Gang is set to release its new single, “I’ve Just Seen the Rock of Ages,” January 15, 2021.

It’s been a big year for The Chuck Wagon Gang—especially so, for a group that has been around since 1936. Their Carter Family-inspired album, No Depression in Heaven, debuted #1 on the Billboard Bluegrass Chart, and legitimately became a crossover hit when nominated for a Dove Award in 2020. In January of 2020, the group was inducted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame. Undergoing many personnel changes over the years, their significance is rooted in providing an important link between country music and traditional sacred songs of the South. This music has moved the likes of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Charlie Daniels, and generations of Gospel singers and open-eared listeners.
