Sevierville, TN – Freedom Quartet has announced the addition of Nathan Parrish as the group’s pianist. Parrish, formerly of The Florida Boys, has most recently served as a Minister of Music in his hometown of Franklin, North Carolina. In addition to his abilities at the piano, Nathan’s anointed vocals be featured in each performance of Freedom Quartet.

John Rulapaugh states, “Many of our friends will remember Nathan as the last tenor vocalist for Charlie Waller’s Florida Boys. While his official capacity is as our pianist, having Nathan on board presents the opportunity for me to continue to be involved in the day to day operations of Freedom Quartet as I pursue a much needed sabbatical from road life.”

Nathan, who began fulfilling his duties with Freedom Quartet in late July, says, “After the retirement of the Florida Boys, I wasn’t sure what was next. Then, God opened the door with Freedom Quartet. These guys have taken me in and made me one of their own.”

Rulapaugh will continue to make select appearances with Freedom Quartet (including their 2 Main Stage appearances at NQC) and shares “I have full confidence in Nathan’s ability to fill the space in my absence and I encourage our friends and fans to support Freedom Quartet as we continue to carry the Gospel message around the world. I covet your prayers as I take this time to reflect and focus on my relationships with The Lord, my wife Jennifer, and our daughters Jaydon and Joscelyn.”
