Del Delamont Joins The Blackwood Singers

Branson, MO — The Blackwood Singers have added Del Delamont as musical director of The Blackwood Singers upon the retirement of legendary pianist Tommy Fairchild.

When Tommy announced his retirement RW Blackwood and Duane Allen (Oak Ridge Boys) were discussing who might be a good “fit” to fill Tommy’s spot. Duane recommended Del … RW then called … and as they say, the rest is history.

Many years ago Del was honored by Singing Newswith the “Song Of A Lifetime” designation for the Oak Ridge Boys #1 hit, “King Jesus.”
