Changes For Persuaded

Logan, OH (Nov. 14, 2017) — As many of you know, our lead singer Tim Ooten gave us his notice a couple months ago due to some changes in his job with the University he works for. Additionally, Tim is very involved in his church where his dad is the pastor. Tim leads the worship and is in charge of the choir music. We are so thankful for the time he has been with Persuaded! We have grown to truly love him like a brother and he is family to us. There is no better guy and to sing and minister with him was an honor.

So that brings us to the next chapter for Persuaded… we are so excited to welcome Johnathon Dodrill as our new lead singer!! JD has a powerful voice and is an incredibly talented and experienced singer. He is 32 years old and is married to Oriana Dodrill. God has blessed them with two amazing kids! He has been singing Gospel music for most of his life. An avid hunter\outdoorsman and graduate of the Seminary, he has worked as a youth pastor in several different churches across the country and has had the privilege of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through both word and song.

JD says, “When you’re standing on a platform and watching the Holy Spirit working in the hearts and lives of the people you are ministering to, see the tears running down their face and hands lifted high in total praise to the Master, it makes everything worth it!”

We can’t wait to introduce him to our great fans and friends and have you welcome him into the Persuaded family!!
