Bradenton, FL (August 9, 2019) — Southern Gospel concert promoter Bill Bailey shared the sad news that his mother, Angie N. Bailey, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 8. She was 86.

Born in 1933 in Thompson, Georgia, Mrs. Bailey was the last surviving sibling of five children. After the death of her first husband, Lee Roy Trotter, she married William (Bill) Bailey in 1968. They were married for 27 years.

Mrs. Bailey spent her later years in Bradenton, Florida, where she loved to hear Bill Jr. sing and preach at Happy Gospel Church. She also enjoyed listening to Gospel music and attending concerts throughout the country.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by two sons, Mike Trotter (Mona) and Pastor Bill Bailey (Sally), five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, along with one stepdaughter, Diane Banks, and Diane’s daughter, Tonyia.

The family will host a visitation Monday, August 12, from 6-8 p.m. at the Happy Gospel Church located at 1915 53rd Ave. East in Bradenton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 14, at 10 a.m. at Kimbrell & Stern Funeral Home, 1503 Dawson Road in Albany, Georgia. The service will be immediately followed by interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
