A New Role for Paul Secord at Godsey Media

Scott Godsey has named Paul Secord as Executive Vice President of Godsey Media Management.

Godsey Media Management (Nashville based digital management and production firm) was founded in January of 2020 by Owner/CEO Scott Godsey. Soon after, he hired Paul Secord to be his Director of Artist Management. In the midst of a tumultuous pandemic, they launched an online concert series that put more than $500,000 into the hands of dozens of artists during a time when they needed it the most. Also during this time, Paul produced albums, radio singles, and videos that have been heard and viewed by millions of fans.

Scott Godsey has been named CEO of Sea Walker Media, which owns Singing News Magazine, Singing News Radio, The Gospel Greats radio program, and the newly formed Singing News TV. Shouldering the numerous responsibilities of being the CEO of two major companies, he has now promoted Paul Secord to Executive Vice President to handle growth and day to day operations of Godsey Media Management.

Scott says, “Paul Secord has been here from the beginning. His heart for artists is as big as his love of Gospel music. If you’ve ever spent 5 minutes with him, you know he is the man for this job. He is a talented music producer and a great director for our video content. I’m thankful to have someone who is passionate and cares about the artists we serve.”

Paul states, “I’m so grateful for this opportunity to work with some of the best artists in the world as well as lead the extremely talented team at Godsey Media Management. When I left the road nearly two years ago, I knew God had something special for me to do here in Nashville. I’m both humbled and honored. And, I’m ready.”

While many people know Paul Secord as The Gospel Road Coach (a performance and career coach for artists), Paul grew up on a Southern Gospel bus with his musical family, The Secords. His vocal performance degree led him to stages across the U.S. and Europe. He spent 3 years singing and acting for Disney. He served as Music Director at a large church in Virginia Beach, VA for 5 years. And most recently, he toured for 9 years with Gospel Music Hall of Fame member Rick Price and New Legacy Project. Paul lives in Nashville with his beautiful wife and daughters.
