Singing News has just been informed that the 2016 Passport that was created in celebration of the National Quartet Convention has received a major award!

Award-winning Southern Gospel vocalist and Difference Media artist Ivan Parker was a featured performer this week at “Sunday Mornin’ Country,” held at the Grand Ole Opry House on the final day of CMA Music Fest.

Mike Payne was born in West Virginia, in 1953. He became a Christian early on and grew up loving Southern Gospel music. His first efforts at songwriting were simply to change the lyrics of popular, secular tunes.
