The first-ever Southern Gospel Halftime Show aired as an alternative to the secular “big game” halftime event on Sunday, February 8, 2026.  This event was sponsored by Templeton Tours (Singing At Sea) and Singing News. The hour long presentation was captured during the 2026 Singing At Sea cruise and featured many of the top artists in Southern Gospel music: Jeff & Sheri Easter, Gold City, Karen Peck & New River, The Inspirations, and The Hoppers.  The original broadcast premiered across SingingNewsTV and the YouTube channels of Templeton Tours and Singing News.  Tens of thousands watched live with overwhelmingly positive comments:
