Franklin, TN (September 7, 2021)
In honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Tonja Rose has released a music video of her new acoustic version of “America The Beautiful.” Much of the video features footage recorded from various trips across the United States that Tonja and her husband Ward have made throughout the year.

Tonja commented on the release of the video, “As we approach the 20th anniversary of a day that altered the lives of so many in our generation, I wanted to share this song as a reminder that even though things are uncertain and somewhat unsettling at times, this is still the GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.”

On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Almost 3,000 people were killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which triggered major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism and defined the presidency of George W. Bush.
