The Promise, based in Nashville, Tennessee, announces the addition of Summer Young, and Marissa Cato, along with special guests Devin McGlamery, Karen McGlamery, Blair Peele, and veteran, Jeremy Cato to its lineup. Additionally, original group member Rick Blessing will return for a few select dates in North Carolina.

As The Promise celebrates 15 years of faith-based ministry, this exciting new chapter brings a new passion to their mission of sharing the message of Jesus through song. With a legacy of uplifting and inspiring audiences, the group looks forward to continuing its journey with these talented new anointed voices.

Debra Carter Peele, President & CEO of The Promise Partnership and Co-Founder of The Promise, expressed her excitement about the group’s growth:

“We are beyond thrilled to welcome Karen, Summer, and Marissa to The Promise, alongside our talented and dedicated three-year veteran, Jeremy Cato. Devin McGlamery has been a special guest with us for two years. Adding my daughter, Blair, to the ministry is a true blessing. I always knew she could sing—I just never imagined she’d be sharing this platform with us. What an incredible journey this has been! We have seen lives changed, hearts healed, and the Holy Spirit move mightily in our services. It is all about Jesus, not about the group members. It is an honor to serve the Lord. I am truly grateful to all of the former group members that have helped to grow the ministry.”

The new group line-up will soon step into Daywind Recording Studios to begin a new recording, which is set for release in late spring or early summer of 2025.
