SingingNewsTV was host to The Cast: Hymns & Classics, a two-hour plus event held at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon, TN, Monday February 28, 2022. The event was a success by every measure.

A live audience filled the church with enthusiasm and a great spirit of unity as the singers and artists filled the air with the classic hymns and songs that have meant so much to us all throughout our lives. That same audience responded to an invitation with at least seven people raising their hands to accept Christ for the first time and many more committing to a deeper commitment to Christ. Laughter, love, and music were the order of the evening as your favorites took to the stage.

Some highlights included Karen Peck & New River singing a partially acoustic rendition of their seminal favorite, ‘Four Days Late,’ Gospel legend, Sue Dodge, joining the cast for her signature song, ‘I Never Shall Forget The Day,’  Tim Duncan, formerly of Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, taking a lead on ‘Old Convention Song,’ The Nelons lading the crowd in ‘How Great Thou Art,’ and many, many more!
