In addition to its current roster of successful shows and hosts, Singing News Radio, the world’s largest Southern Gospel radio network, is stepping into Spring 2025 with a lineup of vibrant new programs for gospel music lovers of all generations, alongside a new host for its beloved syndicated program, the “Singing News Weekly Top 20 Countdown”.

Joseph Reed, Singing News Radio’s Program Director and morning show host, will take the helm as the new voice of the “Singing News Weekly Top 20 Countdown”, with his debut episode airing on March 29, 2025. Reflecting on the transition, Reed shared, “I’m incredibly grateful to Greg Goodman, who has been the heartbeat of this show for years, both on Singing News Radio and across hundreds of stations nationwide. Greg isn’t just a friend—he’s one of the finest talents in Gospel music. His professionalism and love for radio have left an indelible mark on me and the countdown. While I can’t step into Greg’s shoes, I’m dedicated to carrying forward the excellence he and former host Rodney Baucom established.” Catch the “Singing News Weekly Top 20 Countdown” every Saturday and Sunday at 1 PM Central on Singing News Radio, as well as on stations across the U.S.
