Clinton, TN (March 3, 2020) — Ruben Bean of The McKameys is in the hospital recovering after having two major surgeries within six days. Ruben Bean Ruben had back surgery on Thursday, Feb. 27, and The McKameys reported that it had gone well and that he was released on the 28th. However, he began experiencing chest pain shortly afterward and had to return to the emergency room. Following a heart catheterization and the discovery of some blockages, Ruben underwent triple bypass surgery on Monday, March 2. The McKameys posted the following update on Tuesday, March 3: “[Ruben] is doing really well! After having the surgery yesterday he was sitting up in a chair today, eating his meals … and they are talking about getting him into a regular room today! We are so grateful for GOD’s goodness and mercy to Ruben and our family! To GOD be the Glory, Great Things HE Has Done!!!” Please remember Ruben, Peg, and the rest of the family in prayer as Ruben continues to heal.
