Pine Ridge Boys Welcome Bass Guitarist Louie Sprouse

Nashville, TN (August 1, 2021)
Since 1963, the Pine Ridge Boys have shared their brand of quartet music to gospel music enthusiasts across America. They are noted for rich harmonies that resonate with traditional hymns and gospel songs of today.

With the addition of pianist Zachary Clark, the group has searched to find the right bass guitarist adding to the live musical foundation. Owner bass singer Larry Stewart says, “We have been on God’s time when adding personnel to the quartet. We are excited to announce Louie Sprouse is now our bass guitarist. He also will be singing and doing some driving. His personality really fits the guys. I am excited to have him in the quartet. As we expand our outreach and music, you will see and hear more from Louie.”

Sprouse started playing bass at age 5. Over the years he was an integral part of the popular Calhoun Family, Jesse Evatte Ministries and the Palmetto State Quartet among others. He and his family also sang through the years. He and wife, Gail, are the owners of Emerald Tours and Cruises. They reside in Spartanburg, SC.

Louie states, “I am truly blessed in so many ways. By joining the Pine Ridge Boys, God has again opened another door for me to share the talents he has given me. Through the years God has blessed me to witness and see many souls come to the Lord. My desire is to be a willing vessel for HIM and for God to use me.”

The Pine Ridge Boys just released a new song to Christian music programmers nationwide. “Power of the Blood” is a dynamic song that is moving people in any setting and it features Steven Craps. Stewart exclaims, “This song is one that touches hearts and lives right where we live today. I am, we are, thankful for the “Power of the Blood” that changes lives still today.”
