MARK209 Announces Personnel Change and Upcoming Audition Information Jake Sammons January 7, 2026 NASHVILLE, TN – January 6, 2026 – MARK209 shares that Joshua Pope (keyboard/pianist) and Joe Armstrong (bass vocalist) have officially stepped away from the group, effective immediately following the band’s final Christmas concert on December 20, 2025. Joshua and Joe are transitioning off the road to pursue full time employment outside of touring. MARK209 supports their decision and extends sincere appreciation for the time, talent, and dedication they brought to the group. From the long miles to the moments that happen only on stage, their presence helped shape the sound and spirit of MARK209 during their time with the group. “Joshua and Joe have been a valued part of this journey, and we’re grateful for everything they’ve given to the group and to our fans,” said Jym Howe, lead singer of MARK209. “We respect their choice to step into a new season, and we wish them nothing but success ahead.” MARK209 will continue its performance schedule as planned.
