Nashville, TN – Legacy Five is thrilled to announce that Jon Epley is joining the group as their new bass vocalist! Jon is no stranger to Gospel music or to many fans—and the group couldn’t be more excited to welcome him into the Legacy Five family.

After a season away from traveling, Jon is stepping back into the calling God placed on his life. He shares:

“We all know that life is made up of seasons. A little while back, I went through a change of seasons in my life and took some time away from traveling and singing.

I have so many friends who I love to see out there, and I’m so grateful to all of you for allowing me to have this time away to draw close to the Lord and heal, learn and grow in so many needed ways, work a job for a while and be renewed spiritually and physically through great preaching and singing at my wonderful church.

I have spent so much time alone with God over the last few months and it has been a very needed time in my life.”

Now, a new chapter begins:

“Now the opportunity has come around to use my voice for the Lord again, and I have missed singing so much and am incredibly excited to be joining my great friends Scott, Lee, Tim, Jake, and Adam in a group that I have been a fan of for a long time.

I’m so grateful for this opportunity and look forward to seeing all of you out there again. Thank you for all your prayers and encouraging support.”

Legacy Five founder Scott Fowler added:

“When we found ourselves needing a bass vocalist, every single man on the L5 bus asked me to call Jon Epley. I have loved Jon as a person and as a singer since we first became acquainted several years ago.

I, like so many of you, have missed him while he took some time off and am so happy he is able to travel again and to do what he feels led by God to do.”
