SingingNewsTV was host to The Cast: Hymns & Classics, a two-hour plus event held at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon, TN, Monday February 28, 2022. The event was a success by every measure.

Prayers are requested for long-time Southern Gospel promoter, Joe Chioda.  Joe suffered multiple strokes on both sides of his brain, he currently has pneumonia, and is severely anemic. There are some other health issues, as well.  Though he was in the hospital for about a week, he is home now with home healthcare coming in every day. He is working with a speech therapist and physical therapist.  The family is requesting prayers from the Southern Gospel community for Joe, praying for a full recovery.

The Cast: Hymns and Classics is an exciting concert event on February 28, 2022 at 6 PM Central/7 PM Eastern live from Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon, TN. The concert will be simulcast on SingingNewsTV free to subscribers or as a pay-per-view item.

Martin Cook, one of Southern Gospel Music's all-time legends, gained his angel's wings and was promoted to Heaven, today, February 23, at 4:50 p.m. from the home of his youngest son, Michael Cook, in Washington, GA. He was 85 years old.
