Cana's Voice, one of gospel music’s most popular trios, was thrilled to take center stage recently at a premier event in our nation's capital.

It has been said that unexpected change can lead to special blessings. The Southern Gospel group Exodus, from Gadsden, Alabama, has experienced that during this past year.

Rosa Nell Speer Powell, age 94 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Southern Tennessee Regional Medical Center. She was born in Double Springs, Alabama on September 21, 1922 to the late George Thomas and Lena Darling Brock Speer. Mrs. Powell was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Nashville.

Rosa Nell Speer Powell passed away this morning at the age of 94. The last of the Speer siblings, Rosa Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Mom and Dad Speer, and brothers Brock and Ben, and sister Mary Tom Speer Reid.
