Danny's Diary

A 19-year veteran of the publication, Danny Jones is the Editor in Chief of Singing News. During his tenure he has authored three barely successful books that offer inside (and often humorous) looks at the world of Southern Gospel Music. A New Revolution? Part 2 (#500)
For the 500th entry into Danny's Diary, we're continuing last week's discussion about "A New Revolution."
A New Revolution? (#499)
Every so often, something comes along and revolutionizes the world of Southern Gospel music.
Archie Bunker? (#498)
I never intended to go over a month without posting a new entry to Danny's Diary.
Bye Bye, 2010! (#497)
Thus far, I've found eight-month old receipts, a key that I have no idea of what it goes to, an information sheet that I was supposed to send to our corporate headquarters in February and something that looks like a science experiment gone wrong.
Christmas Thoughts (#496)
I’ve been asked many times to pick out my favorite Danny’s Diary entry. Well, this is it…
Singing News TV (#495)
You've probably noticed that a few months ago, a feature called "Singing News TV" was added to the home page.
I Knew That Was The Reason (#494)
Today, it all comes out. The real reason is exposed!
Better Safe Than Sorry (#493)
If ever a true example of "Better Safe Than Sorry" existed, this is it.
Legacy (#492)
Funerals on back-to-back days are not the best way to start the week.
NQC 2010 (#491)
With the 2010 National Quartet Convention behind us now I've been mentally replaying the hours and events of last week.
The Hall of Fame (#490)
On August 2nd, I asked the readers of Danny's Diary to send cards and letters to one of Southern Gospel music's oldest living legends.
A Great Week (#489)
Since Wednesday of last week, I've gotten to visit with many Southern Gospel fans, as well as a lot of Singing News subscribers.
